Privacy Policy

PNG on PDF (“we”, “our”, “us”) is operated at pngonpdf.com. This Privacy Policy explains what information we do — and do not — collect when you use our website and tools.

1. The short version

  • All file processing (PNG to PDF, PDF to PNG, signing, OCR, etc.) happens locally inside your browser. Your files never leave your device and are never sent to our servers.
  • We do not require an account, do not collect names, emails, phone numbers, addresses or other personal identifiers in order to use the tools.
  • We use privacy-friendly, aggregate analytics for site traffic, and (optionally) advertising partners on content pages such as the blog.
  • You can use our tools entirely offline after the page loads.

2. Information we do not collect

Because all conversions and edits run on your device, we never see and never store: your PDFs, your PNGs, your signatures, the OCR text recognised from your scans, file names, image content, or document contents.

3. Information automatically processed

Like most websites, our hosting provider (Cloudflare) automatically processes basic technical information when you visit, such as your IP address, browser type, operating system, referring URL and pages visited. Cloudflare uses this for security and abuse prevention; we may see aggregated counts but not individual records.

4. Cookies & local storage

We use a small amount of local storage on your device to remember your theme preference (light or dark) and your cookie-consent choice. We do not set tracking cookies for our own purposes.

5. Analytics

We may use a privacy-respecting analytics service (such as Cloudflare Web Analytics or Plausible) that does not use cookies and does not track individuals across sites. Aggregate data we may see includes page views, country, browser, and screen size.

6. Advertising

On content pages such as the blog and informational pages, we may display advertising provided by third parties (for example, Google AdSense). Those partners may use cookies or similar technologies to serve ads based on prior visits to this and other websites. You can opt out of personalised advertising at any time by visiting Google Ads Settings or aboutads.info. We will not display ads inside the editor pages where you process files.

7. How we share information

We do not sell, rent or trade personal data.

8. Children

Our service is not directed to children under 13 (or under 16 in the EEA). We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.

9. International users

PNG on PDF is a global, static website. Wherever you are, your files stay on your device. The technical request data described in section 3 may be processed outside your country by our hosting provider.

10. Your rights (GDPR, CCPA, etc.)

Because we do not store personal data ourselves, there is typically nothing for us to provide, modify or delete on request. If you have ever contacted us via email, you may ask us to delete that correspondence at any time.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top will reflect the latest revision.
